Since 1958, Balogh became and continues today, to be a leader and pioneer in the development and manufacturing of contactless identification systems. Balogh started out over 50 years ago manufacturing Inductive Proximity Sensors, which then lead to the development of our first Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag in 1978.

Since then Balogh has grown and expanded its operations as well as its RFID technology portfolio. What once was a lone office in Paris, France has now become a Global Corporation; The Balogh Group, with offices & manufacturing facilities in Europe and the United States, and distribution (partners) around the world.

Today, the Balogh Group offers the most advanced RFID technologies in the industry. Balogh’s philosophy is to be an RFID specialist providing the right RFID technology to meet our customers’ needs. These technologies include: 2.45GHz, 13.56MHz, UHF 800-960 MHz, 125 KHz, Infrared, and Balogh Industrial RFID products.

Balogh has thousands of  applications around the world utilizing millions of RFID tags in many different industries like: Automotive, Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, Agriculture, Transportation, Railway, Access Control, Air Cargo, Aircraft Manufacturing & Security to name just a few.

Balogh has the most extensive line of interfaces for RFID in the industry:
Balogh can connect to all the major control bus networks including; DeviceNet?, ControlNet?, EtherNet/IP?, EtherNet TCP/IP, ModBus/TCP?, ProfiBus-DP?, Interbus-S?, and GE GeniusBus?. In addition Balogh actively works with many alliance partners to complement its RFID solutions with best-in-class expertise, technology, services and sales abilities such as Rockwell Automation e.g. to develop the most comprehensive set of interfaces to Allen-Bradley Control products available today.
